3.5.19.2. Head of the block of cylinders

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a camshaft, levers and hydraulic pushers of a head of the block of cylinders. Unscrew glow plugs and remove a head of the block of cylinders from the engine.
2. On all models, using the adaptation for compression of a spring of the valve, compress each spring and remove crackers from a valve end face.
3. Remove the adaptation for compression of a spring and take a plate of a spring and a spring.
4. Flat-nose pliers, being careful, remove a maslootrazhatelny cap.
5. Remove a spring nest.
6. When the spring of the valve is compressed and the cup of a spring does not act in film from crackers, it is necessary to strike with a hammer through wooden whetstone on a spring cup that will lead to release of crackers.
7. Take the valve via the combustion chamber. Each valve store in a separate plastic bag together with a plate of a spring, a spring, a nest of a spring and crackers for their further installation on the places.

Cleaning of a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the remains of old laying from a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Clear a deposit from combustion chambers, then wash up a head in the corresponding solvent.
3. Clear of carbonaceous deposits of the valve, probably, even with application of a wire brush.

Check

HEAD OF THE BLOCK OF CYLINDERS

Check of planeness of a head of the block of cylinders

Measurement of a vystupaniye of the vortical chamber from a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully examine a head of the block of cylinders on existence of cracks and other damages. In the presence of cracks the head is subject to replacement.
2. Using a metal ruler and щуп, check planeness of an interfaced surface of a head of the block of cylinders. At not planeness more than 0,1 mm it is necessary перешлифовать a head, thus its height should correspond to requirements.
3. Check a condition of saddles of valves. If they are burned, worn-out or have defects, it is necessary to replace them. If wear of a saddle of the valve is insignificant, they are necessary for grinding in. Check directing plugs of valves on wear, inserting into them a core of the valve and moving it aside. Moving should be insignificant. If moving is excessive, take the valve and measure diameter of a core of the valve. If necessary replace the valve. If the core of the valve is not worn-out, means, the directing plug which it is necessary to replace is worn-out. Replacement of directing plugs of valves should be made at service station.
4. If saddles of valves have to be перешлифованы, this operation is necessary for executing after installation of new directing valves.

VALVES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check a plate of each valve on local corrosion, прожоги, cracks and the general wear. Check a valve core on wear and a bend. Check wear of an end face of a core of the valve. In the presence of any defects the valve is subject to replacement.
2. By a micrometer measure diameter of a core of the valve in several places on length of a core. Any essential distinction in the received data indicates wear of a core of the valve and obligatory replacement of the valve.
3. If valves are in a satisfactory condition, they should be inserted into the places and are ground in. If plates of valves or a saddle are strongly worn-out, before their grinding in it is necessary to process mechanically or even to replace.

Grinding in of valves

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a head of the block of cylinders combustion chambers up on wooden whetstones.
2. Grease with paste for place grinding in on a plate of the valve and a valve saddle, establish the valve on a place and on a plate of the valve establish a sucker with the holder (handle). Rotating the valve a sucker in different directions, grind in the valve, and it is periodically necessary to raise the valve for redistribution of pritirochny paste.
3. If rough pritirochny paste is used, grinding in to make before emergence of a uniform opaque surface on a saddle of the valve and the valve.
4. Then erase used composition of paste and repeat grinding in process with melkodispersny paste. Grinding in to make before emergence of easy gray and opaque color.
5. Carefully remove traces of pritirochny paste, using the corresponding solvent.

VALVE ELEMENTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check klapanny springs on damage signs.
2. Establish springs to one of end faces on a bed, check a deviation of an axis of a spring from the vertical plane and length of springs. In case of damage of one of springs it is necessary to replace all springs in a set.
3. Replace maslootrazhatelny caps irrespective of their condition.

Assembly of a head of the block of cylinders

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease cores of valves with engine oil and insert them on the places. The valve establish on those places where they were ground in.
2. Establish a spring nest.
3. Establish the thin-walled protective plug on a valve core.
4. Lower a maslootrazhatelny cap in fresh engine oil and establish it on a valve core into place, being careful not to damage it working edges. For installation of maslootrazhatelny caps use a special metal opravka.
5. Establish a klapanny spring and a plate of a spring.
6. The special adaptation compress a klapanny spring and establish crackers in dredging of a core of the valve and grease them. Remove the adaptation for spring compression. Repeat this operation on other valves.
7. With a hammer through wooden whetstone knock on an end face of a core of the valve in order that all elements of the valve were accurately established on the places.
8. Establish a head on the block of cylinders and establish hydraulic pushers, levers and a camshaft.
