Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover camshafts.
2. Remove asterisks of camshafts. If you remove camshafts of the right head of cylinders, turn them approximately on 60 ° back. Thus, the probability of contact of valves with pistons decreases.
3. Weaken and unscrew bolts of covers of bearings of a camshaft of inlet valves. Weaken bolts in turn, on a half of turn at one time. Get bolts and remove covers. For carrying out the correct installation during assembly all covers are numbered (is specified by shooters).
4. Remove a camshaft and an epiploon. Mark a camshaft of inlet valves not to mix it with shaft of final valves.
5. Remove a shaft of final valves.
6. Take pushers and combine them in the separate numbered boxes.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Examine cams and it is necessary to replace necks of bearings of a shaft with existence of wear and damages, if necessary a shaft. Examine shaft bearings in a head of cylinders. If they too are worn-out – replace a head of cylinders.
2. Examine pushers on existence of wear and damages. If necessary make replacement.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease pushers and openings of pushers with pure engine oil and establish pushers on the places.
2. Grease cams and necks of bearings of shaft with pure engine oil. Establish camshafts in a head of cylinders.
3. Temporarily establish asterisks. Labels of asterisks of the left head should be combined with cover cuts, and labels of asterisks of the right head are turned approximately on 60 ° back concerning cuts in a cover.
4. Put hermetic N15 03 170 on a surface of a head of cylinders round covers of forward bearings of camshafts (it is specified by an arrow).
5. Establish covers of bearings according to their numbers (are specified by shooters).
6. Tighten nuts of covers of a camshaft of final valves in spiral sequence, since an average cover. Tighten covers very carefully, on a half of turn at one time.
7. Similarly tighten nuts of covers of a camshaft of final valves.
8. Establish new epiploons of shaft.
9. Establish asterisks of shaft and the remained details.
