3.1.10. Casing of a camshaft and camshaft


1. Remove a camshaft casing together with a head of cylinders (see subsection 3.1.12).
2. Remove casing laying.
3. Measure a free wheeling of a camshaft, having inserted measuring щуп between a persistent plate and shaft, if necessary replace a persistent plate. Unscrew two bolts of a persistent plate (are specified by shooters in drawing at the left) and remove a persistent plate (drawing on the right).
4. Take a camshaft from a casing.


1. Examine surfaces of bearings in a camshaft casing on wear existence. If necessary it is necessary to replace a casing.
2. Examine necks of bearings and camshaft cams. At wear detection, it is necessary to replace a shaft. Examine a persistent plate of a shaft and replace it if necessary.


1. Establish a new epiploon of a camshaft.
2. Oil a camshaft and establish it in a casing. Tighten bolts of a persistent plate and measure a free wheeling of a shaft.
3. Establish a camshaft casing.
