Survey

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove brake disks of back wheels.
2. Clear the brake mechanism of a dust and measure thickness of a frictional material of blocks. If any of blocks is subject to replacement, replace brake shoes on both wheels. Check a condition of a brake drum.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a spring and a rope from the lever of the hand brake.
2. Remove antinoise springs and fixing screws. On late models press on caps of springs, turn them on 90 ° and remove together with springs.
3. Mark brake shoes and remove them, having disconnected the top and bottom returnable springs.

Installation

Prevention

Grease a return surface of blocks with high-temperature greasing before installation.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the lever on a brake guard.
2. Establish a returnable spring.
3. Establish a forward brake shoe.
4. Establish a spring and a cap.
5. Press on a cap and turn it.
6. Establish a back brake shoe and the bottom returnable spring.
7. Hook on the lever of the hand brake for bottom edge of a brake shoe.
8. Establish a clamping spring and a cap.
9. Establish a regulator between blocks.
10. Establish the top returnable spring.
11. Tighten up an adjusting nut for adjustment of the mechanism of the hand brake.
