10.2. Main transfer

GENERAL INFORMATION

Identification table of the main transfer

1. Differential with sliding restriction (0 – it is established, 1 – is not established)

2. Transfer relation

It is possible to determine type of the main transfer by the plate fastening from below of a casing of the main transfer.

Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove both semi-axes.
2. Lower pipes of an exhaust system.
3. Disconnect the driveshaft from the main transfer.
4. Establish a support under the main transfer and disconnect sockets of connection of ABS sensors.
5. Turn off fixing bolts and remove the main transfer.

Installation

Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.

Check of level of oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cap (In), turn off a cap (And) and check, that oil was up to standard of bottom edge of an opening.
2. Add oil if it is necessary, and twirl a cap till the demanded moment of an inhaling.

Oil gulf

Fill in oil of demanded type as it is specified in subsection 10.1.
