9.2.3. Gear shifting mechanism

GENERAL INFORMATION

Check functioning of the lever of gear shifting. If necessary adjust the switching mechanism.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the lever in parking situation (R). Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Find on the left side of a transmission switching lever and weaken a coupling bolt of a switching rod (it is specified by an arrow). Move switching lever of a transmission completely back in situation (R) and tighten a coupling bolt.
3. Check operation of the lever of gear shifting.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Remove lock rings and disconnect switching rod from a transmission and the switching lever (it is specified by an arrow). Remove a rod.

Installation

Grease with universal greasing rotary pins of a switching rod and establish a rod, having fixed it lock rings.
