9.1.7. Mechanical transmission

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Lift and fix a forward part of the car. Remove the bottom guard of the engine.
3. Disconnect tubes and transmission hoses from a dividing partition of an impellent compartment.
4. Disconnect a wire from the switch of fires of lamps of a backing
5. Disconnect a forward part of the driveshaft from a flange of a transmission and remove the shock-absorber.
6. Remove switching rod of the mechanism of gear shifting.
Engines in volume 2,0 liters
7. In SOHC engines disconnect a wire from the DIS module. Unscrew bolts of an arm of the module and remove the module from a back part of a head of cylinders. Liberate wires of a high voltage from clips.
8. Disconnect a wire of the oxygen sensor from a transmission.
9. Remove an arm of forward section of an exhaust pipe and disconnect forward section from the intermediate.
10. Unscrew the bolts, fixing arms to a transmission and to the block of cylinders. Remove both arms and remove the bottom cover of a flywheel.
11. Unscrew two bolts, fixing a back part of a transmission to the top arm.
12. Establish a jack under a transmission.
13. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a back cross-piece to a body.
14. Slightly lower a transmission on a jack.
15. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a transmission to the engine.
16. Get a transmission from under the car.
Engines in volume 2,5 and 3,0 liters
17. Remove both forward exhaust pipes.
18. Remove a transmission.
19. Unscrew two bolts, fixing a back part of a transmission to the top arm.
20. Establish a jack under a transmission.
21. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a back cross-piece to a body.
22. Slightly lower a transmission on a jack.
23. Unscrew the bolts, fixing a transmission to the engine.
24. Get a transmission from under the car.

Installation

Installation is carried out to sequences, return to removal.
