Wait, while the engine will cool down before the work beginning. Watch that antifreeze did not get on skin or the painted surface of a body. Wash away the spilled antifreeze as soon as possible a large amount of water. Do not leave the container with antifreeze open and do not spill antifreeze before garage doors. Or pets the sweet smell of antifreeze can involve children, however, antifreeze is mortally poisonous.

1. When the engine completely will cool down, remove a cap of a jellied mouth of a broad tank. Turn a cap counter-clockwise, wait, while pressure will fall down, then turn off a cap and remove it.
2. If it is necessary, turn off fixing bolts and remove a protective guard from below the engine for improvement of access to a cap of a drain opening of a radiator.
3. Establish suitable capacity under a radiator, then turn off a cap of a drain opening and wait, while cooling liquid will flow down in the container. If the cap is not established, weaken a fixing collar and disconnect the bottom hose from a radiator.
4. When the stream of cooling liquid will stop, reliably twirl a cap of a drain opening or connect a hose and tighten a fixing collar (that is necessary).
5. If you merged cooling liquid not for its replacement, than two years, it it is possible to use if it pure and served not less repeatedly though it is not recommended.

Washing of system of cooling

If cooling liquid was not replaced long ago or the content of antifreeze was low, eventually system effectiveness of cooling will decrease, as channels of system of cooling get littered with a rust, a scum and other precipitation. System effectiveness of cooling can be restored, having washed out it.

The radiator is necessary for washing out separately from the engine not to litter it.

Radiator washing

1. Disconnect the top and bottom hoses and all other necessary hoses from a radiator.
2. Insert a water hose into the top branch pipe of a radiator. Direct a stream at its finest through a radiator and continue washing while pure water will not begin to flow from the bottom branch pipe of a radiator.
3. If after a wide interval of time pure water does not begin to flow, the radiator can be washed out with cleaner use. Follow instructions of the manufacturer of a cleaner. If the radiator is littered very strongly, insert a hose into the bottom branch pipe of a radiator and try to wash out it in the opposite direction.

Engine washing

1. Remove the thermostat, being guided by the instructions provided in subsection 4.4, then if the top hose of a radiator was disconnected from the engine, temporarily connect it.
2. Having disconnected the top and bottom hoses from a radiator, insert a water hose into the top hose of a radiator. Direct a stream at its finest via the engine and continue engine washing while pure water will not begin to flow from the bottom hose of a radiator.
3. On termination of washing establish into place the thermostat and connect hoses.

The gulf of cooling liquid

1. Before filling of system of cooling with cooling liquid check, that all hoses and collars were in a good condition and that collars were reliably tightened. Do not forget that the antifreeze mix with water can be used all the year round to prevent formation of corrosion on engine elements.
2. Uncover a jellied mouth of a broad tank of system of cooling.
3. Turn off the drain screw from above covers of a casing of the thermostat.
4. On all engines slowly fill in cooling liquid that its level rose to a mark of COLD in a wall of a broad tank.
5. Watch an opening of the drain screw when filling system of cooling with cooling liquid; as soon as cooling liquid will begin to follow from an opening without air vials, establish the screw on a place and reliably twirl it.
6. After level of cooling liquid will be correct, establish into place a cover of a jellied mouth of a broad tank and reliably it twirl.
7. Start the engine and wait, while it will get warm to normal working temperature (while the fan of cooling will not turn on, and then it will be switched off).
8. Muffle the engine and wait, while it will cool down, then again check level of cooling liquid. Add cooling liquid to a mark the MOVE if it is necessary, and twirl a cover of a broad tank.


Always it is necessary to replace antifreeze through demanded periods. It is necessary not only to support quality of antifreeze, but also to prevent formation of corrosion which will be formed otherwise as corrosion inhibitors lose over time efficiency.

Use antifreezes only on a basis этиленгликоля which can be used in cooling systems with use of various metals. Percentage of antifreeze and minimum admissible temperatures of operation are specified in subsection 2.2.

Before addition of antifreeze it is necessary to merge all cooling liquid from cooling system, it is desirable to wash out system of cooling and to check a condition and reliability of connection of all hoses.

After antifreeze filling it is necessary to attach a label on which the type and concentration of used antifreeze, and also filling date will be specified to a broad tank. In the subsequent it is necessary to add only antifreeze of this brand and concentration.

Do not fill in the antifreeze intended for system of cooling of the engine, in system of washers of wind / back glass as it will damage body coloring. In system of washers it is necessary to add a special additive exactly in that quantity which is specified capacities with an additive.
